Ease of use
Making a Part on the OMAX is easy! There are 5 simple steps for making a part.
- Position material on the table slats and secure from shifting.
- Load a .DFX file of the desired part or create a CAD drawing on the OMAX System.
- Determine the starting and stopping points and the sequence of the cut by simply clicking on the software.
- Enter the material type and thickness into the controller. (The OMAX software calculates the feed rates and cutting speeds depending on the geometry of the part.)
- Push the start button and let the OMAX System make the part ±0.003".

OMAX Advantage
- Easy-to-use software
- Complete software control
- Calculate, then move
- Rapid turnaround
- Precise machining
The OMAX JetMachining Center simplifies abrasive jetmachining and places an easy-to-use tool in the workplace.
Easy-to-use software
- There are four buttons for all functions, and on-line help provides clear explanation. You can also edit DXF files created by other CAD programs.
Complete software control
- The water pump, abrasive feed and all machining head movements are controlled by software running on a standard PC. There is no need for operator intervention.
Calculate then move
- The entire path, speed, and acceleration of the abrasivejet nozzle are carefully calculated, taking into account the material to be machined and the shape of the part before the cut is made. This allows the speed of the abrasivejet nozzle to be precisely controlled for smooth, even cutting.
Rapid turnaround
- Go quickly from drawing to finished part. OMAX economically machines lots as small as one piece.
Precise Machining
- With proper tool setup, OMAX can hold dimensions closer then ±0.003".
